Interpréter Mr. Mistoffelees dans CATS d’Andrew Lloyd Webber a été l’une des expériences les plus marquantes de ma carrière et a profondément contribué à façonner l’artiste que je suis aujourd’hui.

J’ai eu l’honneur de reprendre ce rôle emblématique dans la production française sous la direction de Chrissie Cartwright, Associate Director and Choreographer, en lien avec l’héritage de Gillian Lynne, chorégraphe originale de CATS. J’ai également eu la chance de rencontrer Andrew Lloyd Webber et Trevor Nunn, dont la vision artistique a marqué l’histoire de cette œuvre.

À l’issue de la production parisienne, Chrissie Cartwright m’a personnellement choisi pour reprendre le rôle de Mr. Mistoffelees lors de la tournée internationale, avant de poursuivre cette aventure en Chine puis en Australie. Cette confiance renouvelée a constitué une reconnaissance importante de mon travail et de mes qualités d’interprète.

Au-delà de la performance technique, CATS m’a appris à raconter une histoire essentiellement par le mouvement, la musicalité et la présence scénique. Cette expérience a développé ma polyvalence, mon exigence artistique et ma capacité à évoluer dans des productions internationales de très haut niveau.

Aujourd’hui, Mr. Mistoffelees est bien plus qu’un rôle dans mon parcours. Il fait partie intégrante de l’artiste que je suis devenu et a ouvert la voie à de nombreuses opportunités qui ont suivi.

Performing Mr. Mistoffelees in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s legendary musical CATS has been one of the most defining experiences of my artistic career and played a fundamental role in shaping the performer I am today.

I had the privilege of taking over this iconic role in the French production under the direction of Chrissie Cartwright, Associate Director and Choreographer, preserving the original choreography created by Gillian Lynne. During this extraordinary experience, I also had the honor of meeting Andrew Lloyd Webber and Trevor Nunn, whose vision and legacy have made CATS one of the most celebrated musicals in the world.

Following the Paris production, Chrissie Cartwright personally invited me to reprise the role of Mr. Mistoffelees for the International Tour, before continuing with the productions in China and Australia. Being entrusted with this role across multiple international productions was a tremendous vote of confidence and a meaningful recognition of my work as a performer.

Beyond its technical demands, CATS taught me how to tell a story through movement, musicality, precision, and stage presence. It strengthened my versatility, artistic discipline, and ability to perform at the highest level within internationally acclaimed productions.

Today, Mr. Mistoffelees represents far more than a role in my career. It has become an integral part of the artist I have grown into and opened the door to many of the international opportunities that followed.
