Rejoindre La Cage aux Folles en tant qu’interprète et Dance Captain a marqué une étape essentielle de ma carrière. Cette responsabilité m’a permis de travailler au plus près de l’équipe artistique et de contribuer chaque jour au maintien de l’excellence du spectacle.
En tant que Dance Captain, j’étais chargé de transmettre la chorégraphie, d’accompagner les artistes et de veiller à la qualité artistique de chaque représentation. Cette fonction a renforcé mes qualités de leader, ma rigueur et mon sens de la transmission.
J’ai eu le privilège de collaborer étroitement avec Olivier Py, metteur en scène et adaptateur de cette nouvelle production française, ainsi qu’avec les chorégraphes Ivo Bauchiero et Aurélien Lehmann, dont j’ai pu assister le travail tout au long de la création du spectacle. Observer leur processus artistique et participer à la transmission de leur vision a profondément enrichi ma compréhension de la création d’une grande comédie musicale.
Aujourd’hui, La Cage aux Folles représente une étape majeure de mon parcours, me permettant d’évoluer non seulement comme interprète, mais également comme artiste capable d’assumer des responsabilités artistiques au sein d’une production récompensée par le Molière du Meilleur Spectacle Musical 2026.
Joining the new French production of La Cage aux Folles as both a performer and Dance Captain marked an important milestone in my career. Beyond performing on stage, this role entrusted me with maintaining the artistic integrity of the production, supporting the cast, and serving as a direct link between the creative team and the performers.
Working closely with acclaimed director Olivier Py, alongside choreographers Ivo Bauchiero and Aurélien Lehmann, gave me the unique opportunity to observe and assist the creative process from within. Being part of the development and transmission of their artistic vision profoundly expanded my understanding of musical theatre and large-scale productions.
This experience strengthened my leadership, attention to detail, and ability to guide and inspire fellow performers while upholding the highest artistic standards throughout the run of the show.
Today, La Cage aux Folles represents a defining chapter in my career. It allowed me to grow not only as a performer, but also as an artist capable of taking on significant artistic responsibilities within an award-winning production, recognized with the 2026 Molière Award for Best Musical.
